    镍铬合金电热丝的优点是在高温环境中的强度高,长期高温运行不易变形,不易改变结构,且镍铬合金电热丝的常温塑性好,变形后的修复较为简单。此外,镍铬合金电热丝的辐射率高、不带磁性、耐腐蚀能力好、使用寿命长。

    镍铬合金电热丝的缺点是运行温度不能达到上一种电热丝的水平。镍铬合金电热丝的制造需要使用镍,这种金属的价格高于铁、铬、铝的价格,因此镍铬合金电热丝的制造成本较高,不利于成本控制。
